The Warranty Group and American Residential Warranty settled a class action alleging that the two companies violated the TCPA by making unsolicited calls with an auto dialer to consumers’ cell phones, even though those cell phone numbers were on the national Do Not Call registry.

This lawsuit alleges that direct broadcast satellite service provider DIRECTV unlawfully marketed their services by contacting individuals on their cellular telephones via an “automatic telephone dialing system” in non-emergency situations without their prior express consent, in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and other federal laws and regulations.

This lawsuit alleges that Nationstar Mortgage Holdings, Inc. repeatedly telephoned a Florida resident when the company had notice she was represented by counsel in a foreclosure proceeding, in violation of the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act and Florida consumer laws.

This class action alleges that Gallup violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by using an automatic dialing system to place calls to the cells phones of persons who had not consented to receive the calls.

PNI Digital Media sued for data breach

This lawsuit alleges that PNI Digital Media violated state conumer protection laws when its servers were hacked exposing consumer private information.

This lawsuit challenges LinkedIn’s use of a service called Add Connections to grow its member base. Add Connections allows LinkedIn members to import contacts from their external email accounts and email connection invitations to one or more of those contacts inviting them to connect on LinkedIn.
