Spark Plugs

The plaintiffs in this lawsuit allege that Ford should have known that the two-piece spark plugs used in 5.4L V-8 engines were prone to becoming stuck and sometimes break in the engine during the removal process, making the spark plugs more difficult and expensive to remove.  See Eligibility for affected vehicles.

This is a settlement of a class action alleging that certain models of 2004-2008 Ford and Lincoln vehicles that have a 5.4 liter 3-value engine contain two-piece spark plugs that sometimes become stuck and/or break when they are removed from the engine, leading to additional costs for replacement.
