Case Summary:

The plaintiffs in this lawsuit allege that CAT's exhaust emission control (CRS) failed to work reliably, causing its EPA Compliant Caterpillar On Highway C13 and C15 engines to lose horsepower and shut down.  The CAT-authorized dealer technicians were not able to effectively repair many of the subject engines, requiring frequent repairs.  Plaintiffs claim that they paid many different costs including diminished value of vehicles, repair invoices, towing costs, vehicle rental costs, and hotel/taxi charges for drivers.
