Shawn Cheshire is a Paralympic athlete, and although she is blind she exercises often. But the complaint for this class action alleges that LA Fitness gyms do not provide the accessibility they’re supposed to under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accessibility Guidelines, preventing her from navigating the gym and working out on her own.

The plaintiffs in this lawsuit allege that Verizon and Frontier discriminated against consultants and clerks with a disability and that as a result of such discrimination violated the West Virginia Human Rights Act. 

This class action lawsuit alleges that Cracker Barrel Old County Store violated the Americans With Disabilities Act as well as the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination by failing to remove architectural and other accessibility barriers which prevent individuals with disabilities such as the plaintiff from enjoying full and equal enjoyment of several of its restaurant locations across New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

This lawsuit alleges that Bed Bath & Beyond violates the civil rights of blind individuals by maintaining an inaccessible website denying blind persons access to goods and services, in violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act and New York State and City Human Rights Laws.

This class action alleges that Modell’s operates a website, Modells.com, that is inaccessible to legally blind persons and therefore violates state and federal laws. 

This class action lawsuit alleges that several ARCO and AM/PM gas station stores located in the Portland, Oregon area owned by the defendant are in violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act due to accessibility barriers situated in their parking lots which prevent the paraplegic plaintiff  and others from utilizing the facilities.

Casino Miami Jai-Alai

This class action alleges that the Casino Miami Jai-Alai, owned by Fronton Holdings, violates the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) because its website is unreadable by visually-impaired persons. 

This lawsuit alleges that Starbucks Coffee standard store designs included counter heights that were too high for individuals sitting in wheelchairs, in violation of state the Americans with Disabilities Act and state civil rights act protections.

This class action lawsuit alleges that Tesoro Refining & Marketing Company and its ARCO gas stations are in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act due to significant accessibility barriers which have prevented the paraplegic plaintiff from enjoying unfettered use of those facilities.

This lawsuit alleges that Norfolk Southern violated federal law by refusing to hire job applicants with diabetes.
