The plaintiffs in this lawsuit allege that certain Hyundai Sonatas suffer from a defect that can cause engine seizure, stalling, engine noise, and oil light illumination. The plaintiffs also allege that engine seizure or stalling can be dangerous if experienced. The plaintiffs also allege that some owners and lessees have been improperly denied repairs under the vehicle’s warranty.

The plaintiffs in this lawsuit allege that Ford should have known that the two-piece spark plugs used in 5.4L V-8 engines were prone to becoming stuck and sometimes break in the engine during the removal process, making the spark plugs more difficult and expensive to remove.  See Eligibility for affected vehicles.

Plaintiffs in this lawsuit allege that certain Subaru vehicles suffer from a design defect that causes them to consume excessive amounts of engine oil.

The plaintiffs in this lawsuit allege that CAT's exhaust emission control (CRS) failed to work reliably, causing its EPA Compliant Caterpillar On Highway C13 and C15 engines to lose horsepower and shut down.  The CAT-authorized dealer technicians were not able to effectively repair many of the subject engines, requiring frequent repairs.

The plaintiffs in this case allege that Mercedes Benz USA committed fraud and fraudulent concealment, broke warranties, and violated multiple California regulations by distributing certain Sprinter Vans equipped with rear air conditioning units that allegedly leak water into the interior of the vans.

This lawsuit alleges that certain water pumps in MINI vehicles are defective and prone to leaking and failure, causing the vehicle to overhead and stall and resulting in expensive repairs.  BMW of North America, LLC is the authorized distributor of MINI vehicles in the United States.

This is a settlement for a class action alleging that the electric power steering system in certain 2009 and 2010 Toyota Corollas (excluding the XRS grade) breaches warranties and violates various state consumer protection laws because it “can cause vehicles to wander or drift from center at highway speeds and/or suddenly veer to one direction during normal use.”

In wake of its diesel emissions scandal, Audi of America is offering certain benefits to owners or lessees of certain affected vehicles. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SETTLEMENT, and Audi asserts that participation in this program will not waive your rights to bring suit or participate in a settlement.

GMC Sierra Truck Towing Trailer

GMC Sierra and Silverado trucks were advertised with a greater-than-usual towing capacity, this class action alleges, but were not actually able to tow the advertised weight.
