Airbnb Ireland UC, Airbnb, Inc., and Airbnb Payments UK Ltd. are settling a Canadian class action alleging that Airbnb’s pricing system violated the laws of Quebec. The complaint alleged that the company’s website displayed one price at the first stage of browsing, then added additional charges at checkout.
Farmers Insurance of Columbus, Inc. and Mid-Century Insurance Company are settling a class action about the payment of uninsured/under-insured motorist on more than one car in a household. The complaint alleged that these payments were prohibited by Ohio law and that Farmers and Mid-Century should not have accepted them.
