US law requires that beef be labeled as to its country of origin (the Country of Origin Law, or COOL). This class action alleges that Tyson Foods, Inc., Cargill Meat Solutions Corp., JBA USA Food Company, and National Beef Packing Company, LLC have been violating this law by labeling some beef as a product of the US when it did not originate with domestic cattle.

The complaint for this class action point to the Coca-Cola Company’s Honest Tea products, such as its Peach Tea, that display on the front the line “Just a Tad Sweet.” The complaint alleges that this implies that the products are low-sugar, something they are not permitted to claim.

The complaint for this class action alleges that Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (JLRNA) has violated California’s emissions control parts warranty law by not listing all the high-cost parts of its vehicles that should be covered under the emissions warranty.

Rand McNally makes a GPS system called the TND Tablet 80 Truck GPS. The complaint for this class action alleges that the system has a “propensity for failure and malfunction.” It brings suit under fraud, fraudulent concealment, and breach of warranty statutes.

With the legalization of marijuana in many states, companies are devising products that contain marijuana, CBD oil, or hemp. The problem is that standards have not yet been established to assess the contents of such products. The complaint for this class action says that Charlotte’s Web Holdings, Inc. offers two skin products that allegedly do not contain as much hemp extract as they advertise.

Ford F-150 Truck

This class action alleges that Ford has equipped its 2017-2020 F-150 trucks with a defective transmission system—the 10R80 ten-speed automatic transmission. The complaint is mostly the same as one filed four days earlier on the same topic, but this case is for truck owners or lessees in Pennsylvania, while the earlier one is for those in Massachusetts.

The Ford F-Series pickup trucks have been the best-selling pickups in the US for the past forty-two years. The complaint for this class action, however, alleges that the 10R80 ten-speed automatic transmission in 2017-2020 Ford F-150 trucks is defective and can pose safety issues.

2016 Nissan Altima

Nissan North America, Inc. is settling a class action about the continuously variable transmissions (CVTs) in its model year 2013-2016 Altimas. The complaint claimed that CVTs are defective and can experience poor performance or failure. 

2019 Honda CR-V

This class action brings suit against American Honda Motor Co., Inc. for defective windshields. The complaint alleges that windshields in Honda CR-V vehicles can spontaneously crack or shatter, endangering people in the vehicle as well as those in other vehicles on the road.
