2019 Honda CR-V

This class action brings suit against American Honda Motor Co., Inc. for defective windshields. The complaint alleges that windshields in Honda CR-V vehicles can spontaneously crack or shatter, endangering people in the vehicle as well as those in other vehicles on the road.

Whole Foods Market Group, Inc. owns the 365 Everyday Value Brand. Earlier this month, a class action was filed challenging the “vanilla” designation of some of its almondmilk products. This class action makes similar allegations about the “vanilla” designation of some of its soymilk products.

Pair of Protalus Insoles

Protalus makes shoe inserts or insoles. The complaint for this class action alleges that Protalus, LLC, Protalus USA, LLC, and Protalus Holdings, LLC makes false claims about these orthotics, claiming they can relieve a number of conditions and problems.

This class action brings suit against Rust-Oleum Corporation for certain of its Restore products. The complaint alleges that the company made false advertising claims or concealed and omitted material facts, in respect to its Rust-Oleum Deck Start Wood Primer, Restore 2X One Coat Solid Stain, and Restore 4X Deck Coat.

Box of Zantac

This complaint concerns a drug brand-named Zantac, and names as defendants maker Sanofi US, LLC, distributor Chattem, Inc., and sellers CVS Health Co. (formerly CVS Caremark) and Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. The complaint alleges that the drug contains “dangerously high levels or N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA).

Carton of 365 Organics Almondmilk

Many US consumers are choosing soymilk or almondmilk over cow’s milk these days. A recent group of class actions has taken issue with the designation of some of these milks as “vanilla almondmilk” or “vanilla soymilk.” The complaint for this class action takes on Whole Foods Market Group, Inc., alleging that its 365 Organic brand almondmilk incorrectly designates two of its varieties as being “vanilla.”  

Rice Field in Arkansas

This class action alleges that the herbicide Loyant not only doesn’t control grasses and weeds but damages rice crops as well. The complaint names the Dow Chemical Co., Dow AgroSciences, LLC, Corteva, Inc., and EI DuPont de Nemours and Co. as having responsibility for Loyant. The plaintiffs are a number of farms that used Loyant, in a number of different states.

Chocolate Mint Power Crunch Bar Advertising Image

This class action targets the Power Crunch brand bars from the Bio-Nutritional Research Group, Inc. The complaint alleges that the Power Crunch bars are misleadingly labeled because they do not contain the named or characterizing ingredients that supposedly provide the flavors.

2019 Ford F-150 Truck

The complaint for this class action is one of several filed recently that accuses the Ford Motor Company of fudging the figures it used in its fuel efficiency testing. The purpose, the complaint says, was to make it look as if Ford vehicles, including the Ranger and F-150, had greater fuel efficiency than they do.
