GM Corvette LS7 7.0LV8 Engine Excessive Valve Wear Class Action

This class action alleges that GM Corvettes equipped with the LS7 7.0LV8 engine of model years 2006 to 2013 show excessive valve wear which has led to engine failures and a need for repairs. The lawsuit alleges that GM is guilty of fraud and negligence and violated both consumer protection laws and the Racketeer Influence and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.

This class action alleges that the Mann + Nummel violated state laws by claiming that its Purolator filters are compatible with certain VW engines when in fact due to a design change those filters were not compatible.

Big Heart Pet Brands, and specifically its product Meow Mix, are the target of a class action suit that alleges overseas slave labor practices are imposed in the production of its cat food. The complaint details horrific conditions under which the seafood is caught and processed for mass manufacturing.

Honda sued re window regulators

This lawsuit alleges that Honda sold vehicles with defective window mechanisms that caused the windows to drop into the door frame and break or become stuck in an open position.

This class action alleges that DraftKings, which hosts online fantasy sports contests, promises “free bonuses” that are not only not free but are virtually impossible to obtain.

This lawsuit alleges that John Hancock Life Insurance Company unlawfully denied coverage or delayed payment for nursing home room and board expenses to Long Term Care Insurance policy holders, in violation of New Jersey law.

This lawsuit alleges that TINDER deceptively advertised its online dating  “app” in two ways.  First, it advertised its services as free but then required a $2.99 monthly payment for unlimited swipes.  Then Tinder upped the monthly fee to $19.99 but also debited consumers accounts the additional $2.99. 

Weber BBQ Sauce

This class action alleges that Weber BBQ Sauce, a product of ACH Foods, is not “all natural” as advertised because it contains caramel coloring. 

This investigation is intended to explore the possibility of filing a class action lawsuit on behalf of consumers who have purchased under-sink water filters which may be defective, causing them to crack, lose their seal and produce serious flooding and damage to property.
