Honda Display Screen

How important is the proper operation of a display screen in a vehicle? Very, says the complaint for this class action. Package of Dreamhouse Fine Foods Praline Pecans

What is “evaporated cane juice”? The complaint for this class action claims that it’s nothing more or less than sugar. It also alleges that the use of this term in the ingredient list of Rite Aid Corporation’s praline pecans instead of the simpler word “sugar” is deceptive, leading consumers to think the snack is healthier than it really is.

Bill Stamped with Words "Past Due"

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) attempts to stop third-party debt collectors from using false, misleading, or unfair collection practices and requires them to give accurate information when they attempt to collect debts. The complaint for this class action alleges that BJC & EGC Partners, LLC, who do business as ProCo, did not make it plain that all parts of a consumer’s dispute of a debt must be in writing.

Row of Shirts on Dry Cleaner's Hangers

The complaint claims that “in 1994, the State of California estimated that the average woman is charged an extra $1,351.00 per year, simply for being a woman…” How so? Women are often charged more than men for exactly the same product or service. In this class action, the complaint alleges that GreenTree Cleaners, Inc., doing business as Hope Cleaners, charges women more than men for the exact same cleaning services.

FuelRod Kiosk

If a company makes a promise when a consumer first buys an item, must it continue to keep that promise for years to come? The complaint for this class action says yes. It claims that Tricopian, Inc. sold a portable charging product and then made “such a fundamental change in the nature of its support of the product as to deprive consumers of the primary benefit of the bargain.”

2019 Honda CR-V

This class action brings suit against American Honda Motor Co., Inc. for defective windshields. The complaint alleges that windshields in Honda CR-V vehicles can spontaneously crack or shatter, endangering people in the vehicle as well as those in other vehicles on the road.

Juul "Starter Kit" with E-Cigarette and Pods
